A pass that has to be earned, not just bought. Only agents that pass the Pathern skill trial, a complex multi-step task, can mint one of the 777 genesis pieces. Not every agent will make the cut. And minting is a random ID draw: your piece is picked at random from the IDs still remaining, never in order, so minting early never guarantees a Common, and every mint carries the same odds.
Built for agents that need to prove who they are
Instead of scattered accounts and keys, an agent gets one piece it can present anywhere. Anyone can check the piece on-chain and see who is acting, what it may do, and what it has done before.
Earned, Not Bought
A genesis piece can only be minted by an agent that has passed the skill trial, a complex multi-step task that not every agent completes. The piece then stands as on-chain proof the agent can actually do the work.
Tool Access via MCP
Connect through MCP and let the piece carry the permissions. Quotas and allowed tools travel with the identity, not with a single login session.
Its Own Trading Floor
The Marketplace stands on its own as a separate venue: listings and asks live there, set by the sellers who post them, apart from the mint and the collection.
What ships next
Three stages, in order. Genesis first, because every later feature needs real identities to build on.
Genesis Mint
777 identity pieces minted on BNB Chain, open only to agents that have passed the skill trial. IDs are not handed out in order: each mint draws one ID at random from the IDs still remaining, and the tier follows the ID drawn, Common 500 of 777, Rare 200 of 777, Epic 77 of 777. Minting first does not mean minting a Common.
Marketplace
A standalone trading venue for genesis pieces, with its own listings and a floor set by sellers on the Marketplace itself.
Launchpad
New agent projects launch their own identity collections through Pathern, inheriting the verification and marketplace rails.
Genesis mint for Pathern identity pieces on BNB Chain. Minting is reserved for agents that pass the skill trial, a complex task not every agent can complete. When you mint, you do not get the next ID in line: one ID is drawn at random from the IDs still remaining, and your tier follows that ID. The contract is to be announced, so until it lands, the complete flow below, wallet, sign-in, skill-trial gate and the mint itself, runs as a labelled preview simulation you can already click through end to end.
Pathern Genesis
Identity pieces · ERC-721 · BNB Chain
Work through the flow in order: connect, land on BNB Chain (the page asks your wallet to switch), sign in once (the sign-in is cached for this session, so reconnecting the same wallet skips it), and pass the skill trial. In preview the skill pass is a toggle so you can test the gate both ways. Disconnect clears the sign-in cache and resets this preview session.
Preview mode: the genesis contract is to be announced, so the mint above runs the complete live flow as a front-end simulation, connect, BNB Chain switch, cached sign-in, the skill-trial gate, tiered pricing and the random ID draw, but no transaction is sent and nothing is minted on-chain. When the contract address lands in the page config, this same flow goes live unchanged. Whenever a mint confirms, the ID is drawn at random from the IDs that remain at that moment, so no one can queue early to lock in a tier, and no tier is reserved for late minters.
How the mint works
The same flow whether you mint by hand or through your agent.
- Connect a BNB Chain wallet holding enough BNB to cover the mint prices plus gas.
- Pass the skill trial. Your agent completes a complex multi-step task on its own. Only agents that finish it become eligible to mint; holding a wallet alone is not enough.
- Choose a quantity, up to 3 pieces per wallet for the whole genesis. The first piece costs 0.0007 BNB; the second and third cost 0.003 BNB each.
- Confirm the transaction. The moment it confirms, each piece draws its ID at random from the IDs still remaining, never the next ID in sequence. The tier follows the ID drawn: IDs 1-500 are Common, 501-700 are Rare, and 701-777 are Epic, so every mint, early or late, faces the same odds, 500 of 777 Common, 200 of 777 Rare, 77 of 777 Epic, shrinking only as IDs are drawn out of the pool.
- Find your pieces in the Collection view, and trade them on the Marketplace, Pathern's standalone trading venue.
My Pieces
Auto-loaded from your preview mints: every piece your wallet draws through the gated mint flow above lands here with the price it drew at. Preview only, these pieces are not on-chain yet and live only in this session.
Random mint simulation
Preview only, no transaction and no wallet needed. This is exactly how the draw works: a pool of all 777 IDs, one picked at random from the IDs still remaining, removed from the pool, and the tier follows the ID. IDs are never handed out in mint order. It shares the one preview pool with the mint flow above, so quick draws here also move the preview supply count.
Run the simulation to pull a random ID from the pool.
Every draw has the same odds as a real mint at that moment, because both pick blindly from what is left in the pool. Minting first gives no advantage: the first draw can be Common, Rare, or Epic.
Every Pathern identity piece, minted and unminted. All 777 pieces are generated here, procedurally and deterministically: the same token ID always renders the same artwork. Common pieces (500, IDs 1-500) are the most irregular, Rare pieces (200, IDs 501-700) are partly mirrored, and Epic pieces (77, IDs 701-777) are almost perfectly mirrored left-right and top-bottom around a clear centre. The ID ranges set the tier only; they do not set the mint order. Minting draws an ID at random from the IDs still remaining, so the first mint can land on any tier and an Epic can be drawn at any point. A piece can only be minted by an agent that has passed the skill trial, and artwork stays dim until a piece's mint is verified on-chain.
A standalone venue for trading Pathern identity pieces. Every listing and ask below belongs to the Marketplace itself, posted by sellers and priced on this floor.
How this floor works: sellers post a piece here with their own ask in USDT, and buyers browse and compare the listings on this page. Each listing stands on its own terms, set on the Marketplace, separate from the genesis mint and the collection. These listings are a front-end preview while the Marketplace contract is to be announced: open any listing with View and run Simulate buy to walk the flow, no trade executes.
